Then and Now: Blood Storage

Look familiar? We think these Cold War era blood coolers (pictured below on the left), located in an underground bunker museum in the Czech Republic, look a lot like our smart blood cooler, the Delta ICE 2L (right)!

Blood was just as much of a vital resource then as it is now, only now we can see how far technology has come. These advancements are allowing medics to save many more lives than they were able to in the past.
