Delta Wins 1st Place in Pitch Competition

Delta Development was awarded 1st Place in this year's National Life Science Startup Symposium, hosted by Pismo Ventures! There were nearly 100 applications, with 12 startups selected to pitch live to a panel of expert judges, including venture capital and industry experts. The competition was much like an episode of "Shark Tank" where business owners and inventors had just 10 minutes to pitch their company to the judges, with 5 minutes of fast-paced questions and answers afterward.

The Life Science Symposium provided a unique way to connect with knowledgeable investors and Angels that are focused on Delta's industry. It was a fantastic way to be able to reach a larger audience during the Symposium, rather than speaking to individual investors, but also it was an audience that was able to ask the right questions because they are familiar with medicine and medical devices. Delta Development is honored to be named a winner this year and we can't wait to see where this opportunity takes us.

Reglagene, who is developing a blood-brain-barrier penetrant compound for high-grade glioma, was also a finalist and also happens to be from Tucson! Congrats to Reglagene!
