Delta Development Team Inc. is an SDVOSB privately held corporation in Tucson AZ. We are a small professional team dedicated to developing the Sergeants Favorite Gear. Over the last 18 months, we have experienced rapid growth with years of projects ahead of us. We are ready to add another person to our team to help us take on new and exciting challenges. Our primary customer is the Medical First Responder within the DoD. Our vision is to be recognized across the DoD as the go-to organization for solving problems requiring small scale or limited run production for medical and environmental control products. Our products are also for first responders across multiple organizations around the world. We are a small company and still considered a “startup”. A person in this entry-level position may be promoted to Senior Engineering Technician or a Production Manager position after training and experience.
Role Description
As an Engineering Technician, you will have a variety of different tasks from day to day. This will be a challenging position with plenty of work in a variety of disciplines. These disciplines include welding, brazing, soldering (tubing for flow and electrical wiring), carpentry, and product assembly. You will be expected to understand or learn the refrigeration cycle. Travel in-and-around Tucson may be required. Travel outside of Tucson is not required. You will be required to work closely with Engineers to bring concepts into reality. You will make test benches, prototypes, run tests, and troubleshoot issues.
